Course Objectives To improve their knowledge their knowledge about the contemporary fashion designers and their design philosophy. To give an understanding of innovative and contemporary look within design research of the students. To prepare a workbook including the world's most important contemporary fashion designers.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will be able to name famous contemporary fashion designers.
  • Students will be able to analyze authenticity, style and innovative solutions of contemporary fashion designers at the beginning of the 21st century.
  • Students will be able to evaluate designers with the different artistical, social, critical, political and historical approaches.
  • Students will be able to develop an ongoing analytical and professional approach to academic and design research.
  • Students will be able to analyze new innovative and inspiring approaches on their design practices and projects during their education.
Course Description This course contains to teach an archive on most leading contemporary fashion designers and informs on biographies and collections of these designers that will be a referential guide for further research of students.
